How Not To wait too long before you get an
upgrade.
By Richard Akin.
Making sure that you get things right from the start before purchasing a mobile phone can save
you a lot of money, as you are not tied into a long term contract which you may not be able to afford, and also it
ensures that the free airtime or text which you are provided with meets your needs and reduces the cost of your
bills. It may even ensure that you never have to pay for a phone call, as you will just be sticking to your monthly
allowance and not going over.
After you have been able to provide answers to the question in my previous posts, you should
also make sure that you are aware of the length of the contract as that can determine how long you will have to
stick with the phone and with the contract unless the network suggests otherwise.
If you are an individual who likes to change phones on a regular basis without having to pay top
cash for it then the duration of the contract is something that you may want to pay attention to. Contract periods
differ from network to network and you may also be able to upgrade your phone before your contract expires, but
bearing in mind that an upgrade can also tie you into another term with the network, or unless otherwise stated by
the operator.
